10-10-10 @10:10am- nothing was happening. At 10:11am we started transferring files and recording audio B-Roll. I began to collect extra material from the spaces we had visited with the camera to fill out the audio textures we were about to start constructing.
With five to ten second textures we began to make the video loops and then pair them with audio responses. The methodology of the sound construction was a response to what was there, what wasn’t there and what could be implied based upon the event recordings. We also incorporated sound recorded from Carnival as we were still thinking about what happens inside of Elsewhere as being part of the new collection to draw from.
Um, the video count has gone through the roof. Jennida wants to try and do something like 100 loops. Looks like we have to be done by Tuesday. That’s two days from now. Its go time!
