10/14/2010

I guess this is more like a post game wrap up right here. The body is in shock. Mostly to be back in my own bed and between familiar walls my body is relaxing and realizes that it can sleep sleep sleep.
Elsewhere was such a strange trip. High stress, hard work and lots of over stimulation. I really didn’t experience much of Greensboro and yet I think I saw more of it than I would have expected. It is always a challenge to engage the space in which you inhabit yet not get lost with in it so much that you forget that there is yet more spaces beyond the one your in. I have also had to remember that this is life. It doesn’t simply end at certain points. There are no official bookmarks by which you can rewind back to or fast forward to the next chapter. Often times there are things simply to be learned from a situation. Ideas of good, bad, fun or tragic aren’t really the point. What do we learn from a situation? I think there are some very interesting things for me to understand about myself that hopefully as I begin to understand them more fully over time that I will begin to shape my life in a more beneficial manner.
Now beyond waxing philosophical- the next several weeks are going to be extremely hectic, as I now look at all the accumulation from over the years. Accumulation that now must be dealt with, packed, trashed and picked through. The future will be pared away.
